Our mission is to protect and regenerate the environment, assist local communities with skills and strategies to take advantage of the new opportunities, develop educational skills, create employment and foster self-sustaining micro-enterprise to help stop child slavery and sex trafficking.
Saffron Aid is an Australian International Non-Government Organisation operating in the Indo-Pacific Region. Our original focus was Myanmar and has now expanded to include many nations of South Asia, South East Asia and Oceania. We are working with remote regional villages, low socio-economic urban communities and non-government schools to help improve the environment plus the delivery of education in community-funded schools, environmental practices within villages as well as along waterways, helping to set up micro-businesses for villagers and implementation of basic First Aid training and clinics in both schools and villages.
