Schools, youth groups and citizen scientists can sign up for this longitudinal project looking at animal activity and movement compared to indigenous seasons.
Using the Demeter acoustic recorder to collect sounds of animals in the backyard and comparing the activity across the seasons to build a database using modern technology and indigenous science.
We will then compile an annual report showing presence and absence of verbalising animals within these seasons. We have already picked up some species that should not be in the surveyed environment but have started to move from areas further north.
