Saffron Aid Chicken Breeding and Raising
We use puppets to teach chicken husbandry and animal welfare. Followed up by building chicken roosts that ensure the animals are in predator-free accommodation at night and have access to clean water and nutritional feed. Village chickens are free to roam during the day and are trained to come in at night.
Saffron Aid has been running this program in Myanmar since 2015.
AU$50 allows us to present an educational session using puppets to teach about chicken care and the benefits of free-range farming. An extra $25 assists us to build predator-free "chicken hotels".
