Saffron Aid works across several areas including humanitarian, education, training and environmental. One of our projects is our Micro-Scholarship for primary-aged children to help them attend school in remote areas of the Indo-Pacific. From AU$40 we can help a family send their child to school by providing stationery, a basic uniform and sandals for a year. We try to purchase everything locally keeping money in the local economy so the benefit increases. You can either donate or make a purchase from our store.
The Micro-Scholarships remove the financial burden many face in the Global South and with other small, simple but effective projects Saffron Aid implements to make a difference in young children’s lives, and their families. Coupled with our other projects we assist families out of poverty ensuring food is on the table, children get an education keeping children out of slave labour.
